Founded on April 14, 2003 and headquartered in Surabaya, Pratama Steel is built with vision to supply good quality stainless steel with cost effective. Pratama Steel along with its affiliated, build a partnership with many reputable suppliers among the world as well as local mill.
Pratama Steel has a massive variety stock of stainless steel, specialised in secondary material for plate product. What we mean by secondary material, is not about the quality but only refer to the size which are unstandard, which we take from prime excess production. That’s why we call it Cost Solution. Because we have a flexible range of size, which you can choose the material with the perfect size for your need. From the strip size until wide range of size. From sheet until plate in coil. For the prime material, we also have regular stock for pre-painted sheet and round bar from number one mill in its field.
We are also active in PPSSI (Indonesian Stainless Steel Development Association) in order to collaborate, grow, and develop together among all stainless steel industry players in Indonesia.
History
1970
Sutindo Group is initially founded by Mr. Nanang Sutiono in Pegirian area, Surabaya – East Java,
as the holding company
of PT Pratama Steel.
2003
PT Pratama Steel was established in 2003 by
Mr. Steven P. Sutiono in Tanjungsari area, Surabaya – East Java, which specializes in
local prime quality Stainless Steel 300 series plates.
2004
First import shipment and collaboration with foreign companies from Thailand and Europe countries for secondary quality of Stainless Steel 200 and 400 series plates.
2007
Extending our product line up
to Glass and Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) products.
2013
Focusing our customer section to home industry by providing secondary quality
for Stainless Steel 304 plates.
2019
To fulfil our manufacture customers’ needs, we extend our products to prime quality of Stainless Steel 200 and 400 series plates.

Brand rejuvenation and reposition of PT Pratama Steel with new values and identity.
